Post punk, Synth and Retro-wave, angular disco that is very strutable!! The second track from the "Urte Naturala: 12 in 2024" series! That's right- one track out each month this calendar year! Set your moon to it!!
Psychedelic in nature, this album has been described as ear candy. Full of strange narrative, it is infused with the perplexities of navigating a foreign land (where it was also recorded). There are songs that exude lonliness, frustration, paranoia, family secrets, capped off with recounding of anxiety dreams and or the concern about someone living in drain. Layered vocals, paradoxically wheezy strings that disorient but comfort at the same time, correct guitar hooks, jelly grooves, volcanic moments, trilling interludes- it's all there. It has been whispered that this album has 10 musical musical gems (or eleven, if you count "Everytime/Forced perspective" as two songs, because after all it is a double helix! "Yes, "Latitude Bera" is a true jewel made to sound like vintage recordings from the 1960's. It is a beautiful blend, held together by a voice personality that has more emotion, force and creativity than most mainstream bands and artists have." -INDIE BOULEVARD
She also seems to capture a new kind of universal sentiment when she encourages you to “keep your entrails together.” -Sam Pfifle
